Adorable baby spider hunter birds just left a nest on my doorstep and now sit in my sunflower garden swaying in a gentle breeze.
This was the exciting moment both for me and the parents of these spider hunter birds. Three little chicks had just left their nest which was built in a wind chime on my porch. It was a worrying moment as there were a few prowling cats who search all the gardens on my street in search of prey. I watched over them all evening, and when nigh came one little bird was left behind. I took him into my house and released him to his parents the following morning. That's another story and another video coming soon. These adorable little birds now nest on my wind chime every year.
