A woman rescues an owl tangled in a net in Thailand's Chanthaburi province.

The woman, whose name is Thidarat Naruephai, can be seen freeing the bird and using a bottle cap to give it some water.

Naruephai said: "It was tired, but after drinking water and resting, it flew away. It was not badly injured. Maybe it was just looking for food around my neighbour's house, but and got accidentally trapped"‌.

The footage was filmed on January 19.

A weak owl tangled in a net was rescued by a kind passerby.

The feathered creature was found twitching inside the net so villager Thidarat Naruephai took it off the object in Chanthaburi province, Thailand on January 19.

Thidarat then gave it some water to drink in a plastic bottle cap and gave it some time to rest.

Footage shows the bird with its legs and body stuck before it was freed and given some fresh water.

The villager said: ‘It was tired, but after drinking water and resting, it could fly away. It was not severely injured.

‘Maybe it was just looking for food around my neighbour's house, but it was accidentally trapped.'‌
