RPF cop saves life of passenger who slipped while boarding moving train in western India

A passenger's life was saved by a Railway Protection Force (RPF) cop who helped him after he had slipped while boarding a moving train in western India's Maharashtra.

The incident reportedly happened at platform number one of the Jalna railway station on January 27.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the passenger lost his balance while trying to run and enter the moving train (17629). He slipped but was dragged by the train as he held onto the handle near the gate.

The RPF cop, identified as AC Jundre then rushed to his aid and pulled the man from the moving train. With the help of other passengers, Jundre was able to save the victim, who was identified as Rajesh Pandarinath Dukare.

He was given first aid following this incident.
