Protesters rally against UK government anti-strike bill outside Downing Street in London
Hundreds of protesters rallied outside Downing Street in central London on Monday evening (January 30) against the UK government's controversial proposed anti-strike bill.
The Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill would grant the government powers to set 'minimum service levels' for certain key public services during strike action, including health, education and transport.
The bill is the government's response to recent industrial action in the UK, which has seen ambulance workers, train drivers and nurses amongst others go on strike.
Protesters in Westminster on Monday chanted "enough is enough" opposite the residence of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Placards at the rally included, 'this is class war', 'workers stand together' and 'the right to strike is a human right'.
