Officers from Ganderbal police force transported a man suffering from pneumonia to hospital amid heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir.

Footage from January 30 shows the officers carrying and driving the patient across snow-covered roads to a hospital in Lar.

Showkat Ahmad Qureshi, 30, was safely taken to a primary health centre and the officers' actions helped save his life.

Officers of the Ganderbal police force acted swiftly to save the life of an ailing patient and get him medical help amid heavy snowfall in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.

This incident happened in Chunt Waliwar village in Ganderbal district on January 30.

Visuals showed the policemen carrying the patient to the police car as the roads were too slippery for vehicles to move. They carried him to the ambulance and put him inside of it.

According to a report, the police started work in this matter after they received a call about the patient, identified as a 30-year-old Showkat Ahmad Qureshi who was suffering from pneumonia and needed immediate treatment.

The patient was then taken to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Lar for treatment. This timely action by the police helped save the patient's life.
