Sparks from lit fireworks fly into flat and burn resident's quilt in China
Sparks from lit fireworks flew into a 22nd-floor flat and burnt a resident's quilt in southwest China.
Video filmed in the city of Guiyang in Guizhou Province on January 24 shows sparks from lit fireworks flying into a bedroom on the 22nd floor of a residential building through an open window and falling onto a quilt.
A picture shows the quilt with two holes in it.
According to the flat owner Mr Zhou, he spotted the two holes in his quilt after he went back home from travelling.
Zhou said he only opened the window a little bit before he left and did not expect the sparks to fly into his bedroom.
Fortunately, the sparks did not cause a huge fire in his flat.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
