This is the heartwarming moment a kind man moved his neighbours washing line under cover when it began to rain.

The family was baffled when they returned home and noticed their clothes in a different position from where they had left them in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on January 10.

CCTV captured the unlikely trespasser on camera jumping over the wall into their front yard.

But instead of stealing valuables he instead walked towards the exposed clothes rack and pulled it under the balcony to keep it from being drenched by the downpour.

Satisfied, he then climbed over the wall and returned to his own property.

The resident, a mother-of-two whose nickname is Bee, said: 'I was about to get angry, but it turned out to be my neighbour. I was very touched. I thought he was very kind to help us at home when we're not around.'

The family later thanked the Good Samaritan for his kind deed.
