An underwater bike parking facility opened in Amsterdam's Centraal Station, the Netherlands, on January 26. The garage can hold up to 7,000 bicycles and is located beneath the Open Haven Front.

The engineering project, which cost 60 million Euros, is part of the renovation of the area around Centraal Station.

The first 24 hours are free and the daily ticket costs 1.35 Euros.

A second underwater garage will open in February, adding extra 4,000 bike spaces.
