This man was taken away from his family after being found guilty of a crime for which he spent 20 years in prison for but the moment he was united with his children and granddaughter was caught on camera.

David Baker spent a fifth of a century in prison in Peoria, Illinois, meaning he missed a significant portion of his life, including the birth of his granddaughter.

The aspiring-entrepreneur was finally able to meet his daughter as an adult, 23-year-old Addyson Baker, as shown in the video captured just as David was released.

The two were able to embrace with David in complete bafflement whilst the duo shared a hug before David noticed a little girl waiting to meet her grandfather.

The shy girl was placed into David arms who was overwhelmed by the sight of her as the entire family shared the sweet moment.
