Beit Lahiya: Protests following the decision to annex part of its lands to the influence of other municipalities.
Hundreds of people in the town of Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, expressed their anger at the administrative committee's decision to annex part of the town's lands to the jurisdiction of the municipality of Beit Hanoun and the municipality of Umm al-Nasr.
Angry citizens set tires on fire and closed part of the town's streets in protest against the decision.
The protests centered near the municipality of Beit Lahiya, where citizens gathered, calling on the Administrative Committee to reverse its decision.
