Funny video of dogs having treat robbed from under their noses by cheeky cat during patience test
A pair of dogs learned that self-discipline in the face of a tasty treat doesn't always pay off.
On 14 November @julia_and_goldens, a pet owner from Kaliningrad, Russia, decided to put her pets to the test by placing a piece of cheese in front of them and telling them not to eat it.
She had high hopes for her two dogs, Max and Christopher, but little did she know that her cat, who had been adopted just a few months prior, had other plans.
In the video she recorded, the cat is seen quickly sneaking up to the table and snatching the cheese as soon as she left the room. The robbed dogs, on the other hand, remained patient until their owner returned.
Amazingly, the dogs don't seem too bothered, perhaps the result of a friendship they have with the cat, who was adopted by their owner when she was just three months old and had only lived with her previous family for a month.
After this inauspicious start in life, in which she was in danger of ending up on the street, the cat was accepted into her owner's home by Max and Christopher, who made her feel comfortable.
The video, which captures the adorable and funny moment, has received a lot of attention online. People have been amazed by the intelligence and understanding displayed by both the dogs and the cat, showing that species is no barrier to friendship.
