This frustrated farmer plays loud movies over speakers to keep wild animals away from his property.

Tired of elephants and wild dogs disturbing his goats, Kittipong Kenok, 24, installed a network of speakers and spotlights in his farm in the Ban Sap Sadao locality of Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand.

The sound system, which is hooked up to a phone, blares comedy and war films to spook wild dogs, dholes, and other unwanted intruders. The spotlights also flicker like strobes to confuse or irritate predators.

Kittipong claimed the bizarre scheme was effective as a deterrent as the wild animals no longer dare to enter the farm.

He said: 'I used to have more than 100 goats on this farm, but the constant visits by elephants became a problem. By playing these movies, I have found a simple and effective solution to protect my livestock.'

He added that the goats themselves are not affected as they have become accustomed to the loud noise.
