Driver finds family of stray cats sleeping inside car engine before leaving home
The is heartwarming driver found a family of stray cats keeping warm in his car engine.
Footage shows the black sedan's bonnet being lifted, revealing four dozy felines curled up and sleeping inside in Pathum Thani, central Thailand on February 2.
Keh Punrasee said she has a habit of always checking the engine as a safety precaution.
She said: ‘I think the other drivers should start doing it too. It could save them by preventing an accident or avoid injuring strays.'
The cats are believed to have climbed up from the bottom of the car while the engine was warm in order to escape from the chilly winter temperatures outside. Nights in January and February can fall to below 15 degrees Celsius in Thailand's colder winter period, or just single digits in the north of the country.
