Chinese teenager performs Heimlich manoeuvre to save choking father
A 14-year-old girl in southwest China performed the Heimlich manoeuvre to save her father from choking on food.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Zunyi in Guizhou Province on February 6 shows a man named Sun coughing continuously after he choked on a sausage.
Sun then ran out to ask for help from his neighbours but no one answered.
Since Sun felt that he was about to faint, he returned home and gestured to his daughter to help him.
His daughter then hugged him from his back and performed the Heimlich manoeuvre to save him.
Finally, Sun spat the sausage out.
Sun said he did not expect his daughter to use the professional method to save him. He was very proud of his daughter.
