An elderly man cried tears of joy as his grandson returned home after two years in the army.

Heartwarming video filmed in the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province on February 5 shows family members cheering and running to hug a man returning home from military service.

The man then walked to his 88-year-old grandfather and hugged him. The grandfather then cried tears of joy.

According to the man’s elder sister Ms Sun, her brother went to the army two years ago and it was his first time coming back home. He did not tell his family in advance.
