A woman has been "trolled" after revealing a clip of her face – but has "clapped back" at haters who have been harsh about her appearance.

Josie Holmes, 22, from South Carolina, US, has received backlash online after revealing her side and front profile in a bid to show the "haters" her transformation after losing weight.

However, upon sharing the video, she's been met with harsh comments from "trolls" who compared the fitness influencer to Family Guy's Glenn Quagmire due to her striking jawline.

In the clip, which has racked up 5.9 million views and 322,000 likes, Josie replied to a comment which stated: "Most deceiving side profile of all time."

"I only created the video in response to hate comments, as a lot of people were saying how fat my face was," she told NeedToKnow.Online.

"[Others] said how I looked like various cartoon characters or just making fun of me in general.

"This video was only showing how I do look different now and highlighting how I think I look good, even if others don't."

Users flocked to the comments to share their comparisons, with many leaving no words out-of-bounds.

"OML THE SEARCH BAR IS ‘GLEN QUAGMIRE,'" one person commented. [sic]

Another user added: "Glenn quagmire glenn quagmire.”

User Hunter said: "Roblox."

"I fr thought you had a filter on lol," another user added. [sic]

Others, however, left their words of support for the 22-year-old, with one person saying: “I think you are genuinely so gorgeous and your face is so pretty idk why people are being so weird." [sic]

"No bc i saw this TikTok and my first thought was ‘oh she’s so pretty’. I'm sorry people are so mean it’s a reflection of them. keep slaying," someone else added. [sic]

One person added: “I'm so sorry everyone is so cruel. You are so, so, so stunning pretty baby."

Josie added: "The comments most definitely hurt at first, but as time went on, I realised that it was just to get attention.

"I never really took it to heart.

"I know my worth overall and I'm proud of what I've accomplished, so it doesn't really matter what hate comments I get.

"Any interaction is good interaction."
