A crazed husband clung to his spendthrift wife's car windshield as he demanded his money back.

The estranged couple was seen having a heated argument with each other as two others, supposedly present to become mediators, stood by in Bangkok, Thailand on February 7 afternoon.

But the two angry ex-lovers did not back down and the shouting fight ensued.

In a quick bizarre turn of events, the wife drove the white SUV and her unwilling ex climbed up the car to stop her from leaving.

Dramatic footage shows the husband spread-eagled on the windshield as the wife drove back and forth.

A resident who lived nearby said: ‘We heard them shouting. They were talking about money.'

The witness also said the husband dared and attempted to provoke the furious wife to crash the car while he held onto the windshield.

Police arrived at the scene while bystanders asked the wife to stop the car.

The onlooker said: ‘From what I've heard, the husband wanted his money back that she spent on herself and put in her savings. It's crazy how you turn from lovers into the worst enemies.'

Officers mediated between the couple and no further action was taken.
