This footage was filmed and produced 9 February 2023.

This is the amazing scene as a seven-year-old is slid through a rescue corridor of shattered concrete after being trapped for three days in the Turkey quake. Dramatic footage of the rescue shows soldiers pulling the child on a plastic rescue stretcher through a hole in rubble that could collapse at any moment. The soldiers - from the 3rd Army Command, Engineering Combat Battalion Command - found the child deep in the ruins of a building in Adiyaman.

Their footage shows the child's face down on the stretcher, covered in a blanket as it is pulled inch by inch through the debris. Twisted steel girders and broken slabs of concrete look set to fall at the slightest disturbance.

The Turkish Ministry of Defence said in a statement on Thursday, 9th February: "The Engineering Combat Battalion Command of our 3rd Army Command saved another seven-year-old child from the wreckage in Adiyaman. Time for Solidarity."
