A whirlwind blowing across a soccer field in Indonesia has scared people playing sports, but not the children playing with it.

Footage filmed at the Wirabraja field in Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra Province on Feb. 8, shows a swirling wind blowing dust into the air.

The whirlwind and flying dust made people dodge, but it was different for the children who followed where the wind was going.

Dadang Ruswanda, the filmer, said that the action of the children playing with the whirlwind had caused concern.

"At first it was just a small whirlwind but then it got bigger and blew from side to side. There were children chasing the dust swirl which worried us," Ruswanda said.

According to Ruswanda, the whirlwind blew for about a minute and then disappeared on the sidelines.

No buildings were damaged as a result of this incident.
