Gift from sweet dog makes seasoned Nurse Gag
As a longtime Nurse, I can handle any body fluid. There has never been an issue.nothing had made me gag. I mean, nothing.
Until the day my sweet Lilly girl brought me a gift. A dead fish. Lilly was so proud, strutting up to me with her tail held high. It was dark, predawn. ( I take Lilly to the beach before work) I could tell she had something in her mouth, assumed it was a piece of driftwood.
Fear took hold of me. Odd. That’s never happened before. The thought of prying a dead fish out of her mouth with the possibility of it breaking into bits was apparently too much and where my stomach drew the line.
