A driver was shocked when a huge rock was thrown from a bridge and smashed his car windscreen.

Ekkasit Kong Chum was travelling with his red sedan when a passerby was seen casually tossing the slab off a footbridge in Bangkok, Thailand on February 6.

He almost lost control of the vehicle as the object landed right between the roof and windshield.

Dashcam footage shows the rock flying off the overpass and the sedan swerving split seconds later.

Furious Ekkasit said: ‘That man should be jailed. He was so evil and wanted to hurt others.

'He threw the rock at the cars in broad daylight. I don't know what he was trying to achieve but I'm sure he's definitely up to no good.'

The incident happened near a school so Ekkasit asked authorities for help in searching for the man.

He aded: ‘I hope he is caught soon. If he lurked around the area where there is a school, he could be dangerous to the children travelling nearby.'

Traffic officers assisted Ekkasit and tried to search for the man but to no avail. The attacker remained unidentified.

Ekkasit later drove to the mechanic's shop to have his broken windscreen repaired.
