A gas leak caused an explosion in Ottawa's suburb of Orleans, Canada, on February 13. Many homes, under construction, were destroyed. The police said it is unclear if they were inhabited.

According to the filmer, the blast occurred at approximately 6:18 am local time.

Eight people were assessed by paramedics at the scene of the incident.
