A black magic doctor claims to bless devotees with good luck - by rubbing magical wooden dildos over their bodies.

Bizarre footage shows Thep Pongsawadan performing the unusual ritual on mostly female clients at his black magic practice in Thailand's Chiang Mai province.

He first marks the devotee's skin with oil and ink before rubbing the anointed area with the mystical mammoth sex toys while chanting.

The witch doctor is sought after by superstitious locals and tourists for his spells. And his customers are all satisfied with the results, making him a popular alternative doctor with people travelling from across the country to see him.

Thep said his spells have variety of effects, from boosting a person's sex appeal to improving their business, depending on where he places the tattoo and male member.

The witchcraft merchant said: 'I learned the practice from my maternal grandfather and grandmother. There is nothing strange about it.

'The only people who think that its strange are the people who don't understand. This works and my success proves it. People would not come to see me if there were not positive recommendations.'

Thep said he channels the energy of spirits to bring his patients the success they need. One of his most regular requests is from women who are looking for a husband.

He added: 'They will find their dream partner if they are open to the spells. Many people have visited me and then found success in love.'

Thep also sells a variety of handmade charms and magical amulets, including the wooden phalluses for clients to take home.

His work is unregulated by any official bodies but it is also legal.
