The judge sentenced Putri Candrawathi to 20 years in prison during her sentencing at the South Jakarta District Court on February 13, 2023. This sentence was heavier than the prosecutor's demand, namely an 8 year prison sentence.
Putri Candrawathi is considered to have been the trigger for Ferdy Sambo to commit premeditated murder by involving his aides and driver to kill his aide Yosua Hutabarat on the grounds of sexual harassment.
