Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat's mother, Rosti Simanjuntak came and witnessed the judge's verdict against Ferdy Sambo at the South Jakarta District Court on 13 February 2023.
Yosua Hutabarat was the adjutant of Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi who were shot by Ferdy Sambo and Richard Eliezer (another Sambo aide).
Mrs. Yosua Hutabarat thanked the judge for giving a heavy sentence to Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi.
The judge sentenced Ferdy Sambo to death during his sentencing at the South Jakarta District Court on February 13, 2023. This sentence was heavier than the prosecutor's demand, namely life imprisonment. Meanwhile, his wife Putri Candrawathi was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
