University Staff Picket Campus on Second Day of National Action.
Wrexham Glyndwr University staff picketed the campus as part of the continued round of protests over the Cost of Living Crisis. The University and College Union (UCU) said employers must "substantially improve" on their 4-5% pay offer to avoid further action, demanding "a meaningful pay rise to deal with the cost-of-living crisis as well as action to end the use of insecure contracts". Students from these universities saw their lectures, tutorials and seminars cancelled.
