A little girl has warmed TikTok users’ hearts after being left confused while learning about her mum’s pregnancy.

Kesia Venancio shared the adorable clip, where her tot, Amélie Rankin, 3, questioned the logic – which she recalls was a tough conversation.

The 29-year-old claims the topic was approached after her daughter came across a photo of the beautician pregnant, where she asked, surprised: “I was in your belly?”

In a bid to share the uplifting moment, the mum-of-one took to TikTok, where the clip has racked up over 1,000 views and hundreds of likes.

“I think she was confused and wondering how she was once in my belly, but now she’s out,” Kesia, from Essex, said.

“I honestly didn’t know what to say, it was very awkward.

“What can you say to a 3-year-old? I just tried to keep it simple, as it’s too much for her to process.

“We were looking through some old photos when she saw some of my pregnancy and I told her my belly was big because she was inside.

“Amélie was surprised about this information and couldn’t stop talking about it, so was very intrigued.

“She’s never asked anything about this before, so I decided to record it.

“It was getting very funny, as she kept coming out of nowhere asking: ‘So, I was in your belly mummy?’”

In the clip, the plucky tot asks the big question with a confused face, before her dad, Robbie, answers.

She then re-confirms with Kesia, as she says: “I was very little in your belly.”

As the clip cuts, Amélie is shown sitting in the bathroom as she asks: “So, the doctor took me out?”

Soon, her eyes light up in realisation, before she ends with saying: “But I’m too big now.”

Users flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many commenting on the sweet moment.

“She is adorable the way she sits there and listens to you. Reminds me of my little sister,” one person commented.

Another user added: “Aahhhh she can’t believe it. She’s so gorgeous.”

“She’s trying to absorb and understand but deffo struggling with the magnitude of the info,” User said.

Someone else commented: “Wait till she asks how she got in your belly.”

Kesia, who has received over 1.2 million views for her daughter's antics before, added: “It was a very funny situation and I love sharing with the world these precious moments.

“I felt better after reading the comments and realising how many parents can relate to this with their similar stories.

“After this day, she hasn’t mentioned it again, but hopefully I can explain it in a better way when she’s old enough to understand.

“I think she will love watching these videos when she gets older, especially as with each day, there’s a different discovery.”
