Flash floods caused by water pipe leak wash vehicles down streets in China
Flash floods caused by a water pipe leak washed vehicles down streets in northwest China.
Video filmed in the city of Lanzhou in Gansu Province on February 17 shows rapid floodwater submerging a road and washing away vehicles.
According to Qilihe District Committee's Propaganda Department, the sudden flooding was caused by a water pipe leak.
The water stopped flowing along the road after around half an hour. Some vehicles were damaged but no casualties were reported.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
