Brave firemen saved a pet dog from a burning house.
Footage shows the emergency responder calming the dog down by patting it on its head in Manila, the Philippines on January 1.
The officer untied the frightened pooch, who was only a few feet away from a wall being engulfed in flames.
Colleague Eric Yumul said: ‘We were extinguishing a fire at a burning apartment when we saw the dog.
‘It was alone and felt sorry for it. We believe that all lives matter and no one should get left behind.'
The dog was reunited with its owner and given water before being taken to a vet.
