A tired stray dog with its body pinched in a narrow fence gap was rescued.

The white pooch was trying to enter a property next to a vacant lot by passing through the steel enclosures in Chonburi province, Thailand on February 6.

Desperately, the agitated pooch tried to free itself but to no avail. Security staff later heard it barking and rescued it with the help of colleagues.

Footage shows the frustrated dog growling while the workers attempted to push him off the structure. It appeared afraid and barked at its rescuers.

Athip Ntirattanaphrai who was also helping the dog said: ‘It was before sunset. We heard the dog crying. We were a bit far from the village so we were confused about how there could be a dog and then we found it was stuck.'

The fences were forced apart to make little space for the dog to pull itself out, but it took almost 30 minutes as the steel used on the fencing was thick.

Athip added: ‘I hope the silly dog stayed in the village. We returned it there and it was not hurt. It was given food.'
