Welsh Ambulance Workers from the GMB and Unite Union manned Picket Lines again in the early hours for yet another round of Strike Action at Wrexham's Ambulance Station near the city's Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The GMB Union had suspended strike action following a Government offer, but members rejected the offer deeming it far below what was practical. Going forward, the unions state that to end the dispute they need a concrete and sensible pay offer to help resolve the NHS’s recruitment and retention crisis. Despite solid strike action the Ambulance Service maintained its 999 Life-Threatening Emergency call-outs and Ambulances attended these as needed.
