A bungling bulldog tried to walk through the dog flap while carrying a huge stick.

The amusing pooch named Hanna was returning home after a day of playing in their yard in Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand on February 12.

But the pet dog was met with a dilemma while it was attempting to take the newfound toy back inside the house.

Footage shows the chubby hound getting stuck while carrying the 3ft-long cane in its mouth into the small hole.

Amused pet owner Kanawut Dawan, who was heard laughing in the video, said: ‘She was too excited to play with the stick inside the house but it wouldn't fit. It was so funny watching her try to figure a way out.'

After about 30 seconds, the pet dog caught on to what she was doing wrong. She bit the tip of the stick and dragged it with her inside the dog flap.

The bulldog was then seen through the glass windows, happily resting on the couch next to the stick.
