An eight-year-old boy dies in a tragic motorcycle accident in London

Tragedy struck in Plumstead, London, on February 19, 2023, as an eight-year-old boy lost his life in a motorcycle accident. The incident took place on a pedestrian crossing on Plumstead Road, close to the junction with Lenton Street in Woolwich.

Three people, including the young boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a man in his 40s, were crossing the road when they were hit by a motorcycle. The 10-year-old boy and the man are in life-threatening conditions and have been rushed to the hospital for treatment. The family of the deceased boy has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital, and his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening. The Met, the London Ambulance Service, and the Air Ambulance all came to help with the accident, and investigations into what happened are still going on. Road closures are still in place, and police have reported that no arrests have been made so far.
