A rider was flung from his motorcycle after hitting a bundle of dangling power cables on the road.

Rewat On-na, 36, was on his way to work the night shift at a factory in Chonburi, Thailand when the loose wires smacked him on the face on February 15 evening.

He was sent crashing into the guardrails on the roadside but luckily emerged with non-fatal injuries. Passing drivers called a rescue team to help the wounded motorist.

They found him with multiple abrasions and cuts on his face, but conscious and well enough to move his damaged Honda bike away from the road.

Rewat said: 'I did not see the wires while driving since it was dark. Luckily, I didn't suffer anything serious like a broken neck.'

The paramedics gave him first aid and cut away the bundle of wires before it could cause another accident.
