Brides still wearing their white gowns ditched their wedding reception to watch the Irish pop group Westlife.

The two women - who were both married hours earlier - carried a banner that read, ‘We left our wedding with our bridesmaids to attend your concert' during the Asian leg of the world tour in Metro Manila, the Philippines on February 20 evening.

While wearing the sparkly beaded dresses, they were easily spotted among the crowd and even called to climb up the stage and meet the boy band singers.

Footage shows the two brides mingling with their favourite band, with one of the members Nicky reading another poster from one of their fans that said: ‘I chose you over the backstreet boys.'

Concert-goer Alexandria Marie said: ‘Yes, two of the fans were wearing wedding dresses. They said they came straight to the concert after their wedding.'
