Concentration and excitement of students playing flying saucers called ufo games.
Adding to their insights about building a team these students took part in a flying ufo game, where a plate tied to a rope of several branches was then placed around their necks. the rope cannot be held. Meanwhile, on the plate is a bottle filled with water that cannot be dropped. So they have to maintain the balance of the plate by always maintaining team cohesiveness.
This game is of course a very challenging thing for students. Apart from having to fight together, they also have to get to know each other so that a close collaboration is created and they do not claim to be great except for their mutual greatness.
What makes this game even more interesting is that when the plate containing the water bottle must be placed at the bottom, they must move together and nothing can be too slow or too fast. If they overtook each other, the result would be a loss of balance causing the plate to tip over and the water bottle toppled over them causing them to fail.
This video illustrates how to build togetherness between students by using a plate tied with several strings. The plate is tied in the shape of a flying ufo topped with a bottle filled with water.
Later they will maintain the balance of the bottle so it does not fall. The challenge is the rope that binds the plate to the neck and is not allowed to be held by hand. Then each group of students will lead the rope to the finish line.
While at the finish line, there is a small chair to place the plate which is approximately 15 centimeters from the ground. In order for the plates to be placed, the participants had to bend down so they had to sleep on the floor so that the plates reached the bottom.
For those who don't succeed or drop the bottle on the plate, they must start again from the beginning or from the starting line.
Those involved in this game are junior high school students who are conducting basic leadership training at the school.
At least, the number of students participating in the games was 50 students who were divided into five groups.
This game is carried out in one of the junior high schools in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. Precisely at Madrasah Tsanawiyah 3 Padang.
