Toddlers Age 16 Months Are Overweight Reaching 27 Kg. Named Kenzi. Resident of West Java, Indonesia
A male toddler named Muhammad Kenzi Alfaro (16 months) is forced to wear clothes for a 10-year-old child due to being overweight or obese. "It doesn't fit when wearing baby clothes. This is what a 10-year-old child wears," said Kenzi's mother, Pitriah (40) at her residence, Jalan Manunggal 5, Kampung Tambun Permata, Pusaka Rakyat Village, Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Tuesday . Pitriah said that Kenzi, who now weighs 27 kilograms, sometimes even wears the clothes of his father, M Sopiyan (41), who has a slender body. "His father's body is also small. His father's clothes just fit him, sometimes they are also worn on my son," he said. He explained that economic problems also forced Kenzi's parents to stop buying baby diapers for their son. "Me if the diaper, the name if I buy it, is also not strong. So I only use it when I want to sleep at night," he said. Pitriah admits that there are not many XXXL sized diaper products sold in various stalls or mini markets. As a result, Kenzi was forced to wear XXL-sized diapers even though they were too narrow. "So I put on the double XL, I also bought the one in the shop, if the triple XL in the shop doesn't exist, mini markets are also rare, if you just use it to sleep," he said. The persecution was not only experienced by Kenzi's parents when they bought diapers. Pitriah also had to expend extra energy to carry Kenzi who was not yet able to sit and stand on his own. "When I want to take Kenzi out of the house, I prefer to bring a stroller. Because it's not strong enough to carry. Kenzi can't even sit and stand on her own," he said.
