Aerial footage shows bridge construction over Mekong River in Vietnam
Aerial footage shows the construction of a suspension bridge over the Mekong River in Vietnam.
The cable-stayed My Thuan 2 spans 4.1 miles (6.6 kilometers) connecting Tien Giang and Vinh Long provinces.
The super bridge was built alongside the current My Thuan bridge which remains open to motorists until its successor is completed.
Its construction - funded by the country's Ministry of Transportation - is set to be completed in December this year with a total cost of VND 5 trillion (US$210 million)
