A man rescued a cat trapped in a sewer after his poodle spotted the helpless feline in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Jingzhou in Hubei Province on February 16 shows a poodle checking out a hole on the ground and a cat seen trapped by its head inside the hole.

The dog's owner named Zou, who is an air conditioner installer and was working on the construction site, then used tools to break open the hole to expand the gap.

According to reports, the dog barked at the hole when Zou was working on the construction site. He then walked to check and saw a cat trapped inside a sewer.

The cat reportedly fell down into the sewer once free and then ran away.

2月16日，湖北荆州，邹先生当时在工地干活，忽然发现自己的泰迪犬在一个洞口那边叫，便过去看了一眼，发现一只猫咪的头部被卡在洞里了，无法脱身。邹先生正好是搞空调安装的，随身也带着干活用的工具，便通过破拆洞口的方式，逐渐扩展洞口的缝隙，最终猫咪成功脱困。
邹先生介绍，应该是小猫咪跑到仓库下面的下水道迷路了，然后钻进排水洞，钻不出来也退不回去，头卡在里面了，下水道口太小钻不进去人，便考虑用破拆的方式营救。猫咪被救下后，掉下去就跑开了。视频由邹先生提供。
