Crazy fire engulfs thousand-year-old temple in east China
A fire broke out at a thousand-year-old temple in east China on the evening of February 22.
Footage shows bright orange flames raging at the Chongfan Temple, estimated to be around 977 years old, in Zhejiang province.
The Jiaojiang district fire department said the blaze broke out in a newly built room at the temple. The blaze has been extinguished.
The Jiaojiang Emergency Management Bureau claimed there were no casualties.
A fallen power line is believed to have caused the fire. The exact cause is being investigated.
