A large counter-demonstration was organised following a planned protest against migrants being housed at two hotels in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, England.

The housing of migrants at Novotel and Best Western hotels has prompted criticism after claims that local children from a nearby school were being harassed by the guests.

A large counter-protest that outnumbered the other one was seen outside the gates to the Novotel. The group who were protesting against the migrants at the hotel were seen across the road and some members were believed to be part of Patriot Alternative.

"A large amount of police was present but there were no major issues" said the filmer.
