Hundreds of protesters, primarily Ukrainians and Russians, rallied outside the Russian embassy in London on Saturday (February 25) following the 1-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Many protesters held placards, including "hands off Ukraine", "Ukrainians are the heroes" and "victory for Ukraine, peace for Europe, freedom for Russia".

The road outside the embassy was still blue and yellow - the colours of the Ukrainian flag - following a protest by the group Led By Donkeys earlier in the week.

The newly installed Kyiv Road sign by Westminster City Council could also be seen at the demonstration. The new address covers part of Bayswater Road by the Russian embassy.

Fake blood could be seen on the walls and pavement outside the embassy, understood to have been from a previous protest.
