A man used his motorboat to splash water from a river over a fire in southern China.

Video filmed in the county of Haifeng in Guangdong Province on February 24 shows a huge fire bursting out of the grass on the shore and the smoke rising into the air.

A man operated his motorboat to splash water to help firefighters extinguish the fire.

According to the filmer named Zhuang Chao, it took them around 20 minutes to put out the fire and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire was still unknown.

Video filmed in a county called Haifeng in Guangdong Province on Feb 24 shows a group of motorboat operators noticing dense smoke rising in the distance while having fun.

Driving near the spot, they realized that there was a fire on shore and informed the police for help.

Before the police arrived, one of the operators, a friend of the filmer, made fast turns and tilted the boat over and over again to prevent the fires from spreading. They kept splashing until the firefighters came and assisted them to put out fire.

According to the filmer, Mr. Zhuang, they spent 20 minutes on extinguishment and no one was injured.

The filmer does’t know the cause of fire, and there has been no official report on the investigation.

Zhuang is a member of the Shenzhen welfare rescue team, who has engaged in several rescues. His friend, however, is not.
