A 3-year-old girl was rescued after she fell into a 35 feet deep borewell while playing in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

Footage captured on February 26 in Lalguwan shows officials using excavators to dig up the surrounding land.

Cameras were used to locate the girl and monitor her condition. The 3-year-old was eventually rescued after a rope was lowered into the well.

She was later taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The incident happened in Lalguwan village in the Bijawar police station area of Chhatarpur district on February 26.

Visuals showed the rescue operation in progress. The girl, identified as Nancy Vishwakarma was trapped inside the borewell and her condition was being checked upon with the help of a monitor and cameras. Excavators were used to dig up the land in order to rescue the child.

According to a report, a total of five excavators were used to dig a hole parallel to that of the borewell and the girl was eventually taken out as she held on to a rope.

She was seen being rushed to an ambulance which took her to the hospital.
