Pennsylvania Fire Chief left homeless after blaze takes out home in Northumberland County

A house catching on fire has left a Fire Chief without a home after a dryer went awry in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania on Tuesday (February 28).

Chief Mike Minning's family is safe but without a home due to extensive damage and will be staying with relatives.

Officials stated “firefighters quickly responded to the scene and were able to bring the fire under control within 25 minutes” and “the home were removed for ventilating due to heavy smoke from the residence."
