Ukrainian village of Bohorodychne left devastated in the wake of Russian withdrawal
The Ukrainian village of Bohorodychne has been left as a destroyed ghost town in the wake of a Russian military withdrawal. This took place a number of months ago after the Ukrainian military launched a counter offensive against the Russian presence in this part of Donetsk region.
The towns impressive Orthodox Church has been razed to the ground, with a number of its religious iconography severely damaged, footage from March 1 shows.
Russian military apparatus can be seen in parts of the town, with a number of destroyed armoured vehicles being spotted close to the towns blown up bridge.
