This is the amusing moment a bungling rider pulled out in front of car - then hit a kerb while humbly apologising to the driver.

The careless motorbiker was speeding through an intersection in Nakhon Sawan province, Thailand, on February 12, and nearly hit an oncoming car.

To diffuse the tension, the humble rider stopped to apologise, offering a meek smile and a 'wai' - a prayer motion and in local customs a gesture of respect - to the driver.

Having averted an argument, he then turned to leave, giving one last wave behind him - before spectacularly crashing into the kerb and tumbling onto the pavement.

Luckily, the rider was not injured and there was no damage to the car.

Driver Gibbs Wiwat said: 'I felt bad for laughing. He was very well-mannered. I'm not angry with him at all because he made me smile.'
