Famous Chef Helps Soldiers Prepare Food For Evacuated Citizens In Hatay, Turkey
Famous Turkish chef Mehmet Yalcinkaya worked with emergency crews to cook food for earthquake victims in Hatay province.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defence provided footage of Yalcinkaya and other cooks preparing hot soups and stews for the evacuees. Yalcinkaya is an award-winning chef who has worked in kitchens throughout Europe and is known for his role as a jury member on MasterChef Turkey.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, resulting in over 51,000 deaths and injuries.
