Sunset light shines through a large Bodhi trees, which have golden Buddha statues, under them.
Came across this scene at the grounds of a beautiful temple called Wat Niwet Thammaprawat Ratchaworawihan at Bang In, Authhaya, outside Bangkok. The sunset light behind the Buddha statues gave the scene a more spiritual atmosphere. The large trees are bodhi trees, the type of tree that the Lord Buddha used to meditate under. The temple grounds here are very beautiful and very special. The temple and grounds are on an Island, called Balen. The only access is by cable car across the Chao Phraya river. The temple architecture is fascinating. On the exterior it looks like a Christian church, while on the inside it is Buddhist in style. I visit here as often as possible.
