Chaos and violence erupted in Atlanta on Sunday evening, as nearly 150 protestors attacked police officers and construction equipment at the future site of the Atlanta public safety training center. According to authorities, the protestors burned construction equipment and threw large rocks and Molotov cocktails at police, leading to the detainment of 35 people.

The Atlanta Police Department described the group responsible for the violence as "violent agitators," who took advantage of peaceful protestors by changing into all black clothing and making an attack against police officers and construction equipment. The protestors also reportedly threw bricks and fireworks at officers, in addition to the Molotov cocktails and rocks.
